Jason Bailey
B.A., B.Arch. (hons), ANZIA
Jason Bailey studied Arts and Architecture at the University of Auckland and became a registered architect in 1996. He started his own practice in 2000 and has since produced an extensive built portfolio of new homes and renovations.
2006 marked the completion of the Bailey ‘live and work’ premises in Grafton. A few years later, the practice shifted office to the West Lynn Village: a convenient base for our many projects in Grey Lynn, Ponsonby, and Herne Bay. Jason meanwhile renovated a hillside cabin in the coastal settlement of Piha, and this became a weekend counterpoint to city life for over a decade.
In 2017 Jason. came across a spacious studio above the shops in Three Lamps, Ponsonby, where the Hoxha Bailey team is now based.
In 2020 Jason and Heather, along with Oscar the Irish Terrier, relocated to the Sunshine Coast. Jason now works remotely from his home office and makes regular trips back to Auckland.
