Jason Bailey studied Arts and Architecture at the University of Auckland. Graduation in 1995 was followed by travelling in Europe, after which he returned to his home city and spent the next five years honing his craft with Anderson Grant Architects and Kay and Keys Architects. He embarked on the journey of a self-employed residential architect in 2000.
The subsequent two decades of house design by Jason and his team has resulted in an extensive built portfolio of work. These projects are primarily to be found in the weatherboard -clad central suburbs of Auckland, but many have also been undertaken in coastal Northland, coastal Waitakere, Waiheke Island, east -coast Coromandel, and Queenstown.
Jason now works primarily from his satellite base on the Sunshine Coast.
Pashtrik Hoxha completed his Architecture Degree at the University of Auckland in 2005.
His first job as an architectural graduate was working for Jason Bailey, at the time when Jason had just moved into his award- winning Grafton work studio and apartment. Those early years with Jason, and subsequently with Jones Architects, forged a solid base of experience with residential architecture.
In 2011, Pashtrik moved to London to pursue his passion for travelling. During his 6-year spell in London he worked for two practices specializing in classical architecture, Liam O’Connor Architects and Smallwood Architects. Project highlights included working on the Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park, and the Serpentine Gallery led by Zaha Hadid.
Pashtrik returned to Auckland in early 2017 and immediately became re-established with Jason’s team.
A few of our projects have been featured in architectural publications - some of these are included below.
